Postcard

The journal that knows when to ask.

A voice journal for your iPhone and Apple Watch. Everything stays on your device.

What it does

Capture in seconds

Tap once on the wrist or phone. Postcard records, transcribes, and writes a one-line caption — all on-device. No accounts, no syncing, nothing leaves your phone.

Find what you said, by meaning

Search by what you meant, not just what you typed. Postcard understands "the offsite plan" and "Sarah's redesign" the same way your brain does.

Ask your own moments

"What did I learn this week?" Postcard answers from your own recordings, with the source moments cited and one tap away. Powered by Apple Intelligence on your phone.

Apple Watch first

Capture from your wrist with the Action Button, Double-Tap, or a complication. The Watch nudges you after a workout to capture a thought while it's still fresh.

Send to people you love

Pick a moment, choose what to include — voice, photo, place, transcript — and send it as a postcard via iMessage. Recipients with Postcard see it land in their timeline; everyone else gets a friendly nudge to install. No servers, no accounts, sender controls every byte.

Private because it can be.

Voice recordings, transcripts, summaries, and search all run on-device using Apple's Speech, FoundationModels, and NaturalLanguage frameworks. Postcard has no servers — there's nowhere to send your recordings, even if we wanted to.
